Mehfil Games is the name Mehfil Poker is published under. The operator is Mehfil Games. For questions or privacy requests, contact us at support@mehfilgames.com or through our Support Desk.
This policy describes how the Android app and this website work today. Features such as public multiplayer, NVIDIA cloud AI, and rewarded advertising are activated according to release readiness and configuration.
2. Information We Handle
- Player Profile & Settings: Your locally selected display name and preset avatar; sound effects, haptic vibration, card deck colour preferences (two-colour or four-colour), reduced-motion scale, and local game statistics.
- Account & Guest Recovery: A generated player identifier, display name, avatar, short-lived session authorization tokens, and cryptographic guest recovery credentials. Recovery codes are stored locally on your device in secure storage; the server stores hashed recovery credentials.
- Gameplay & Virtual Chips: Room membership, seat assignments, poker actions (fold, check, call, raise), table pots, virtual-chip balances, reservation holds, and hand history audit records necessary for game recovery and dispute resolution.
- Network & Technical Diagnostics: Internet connections necessarily transmit client IP addresses and device technical metadata to hosting infrastructure. Connection logs and request rates are monitored only for abuse prevention, DDoS mitigation, and server health. Local Wi-Fi mode communicates only within your local network router.
- Optional Rewarded Advertising: When activated, advertising SDKs process advertising identifiers, coarse location derived from IP, ad engagement, and delivery diagnostics. Reward verification associates an attempt identifier and player ID with a cryptographically signed completion receipt.
- Support Correspondence: If you reach out to our support mailbox, we receive your email address and any details you provide. Never include recovery codes, passwords, or financial information in support emails.
3. How Information Is Used
We use this information only to run the game: displaying your profile at the table, seating you with friends or matchmaking peers, enforcing poker game logic, maintaining persistent virtual-chip balances, recovering existing accounts, verifying valid ad rewards, and resolving bugs.
Processing relies on fulfilling the services you request, maintaining platform security, preventing ledger abuse, or respecting your explicit consent where required for advertising identifiers.
5. Advertising & Your Choices
Rewarded ads in Mehfil Poker, when enabled, are optional. Players choose when to view a short video in exchange for a server-verified virtual chip refill (+10,000 chips). Viewing an ad does not itself grant chips; the server independently validates the cryptographic Server-Side Verification (SSV) callback.
Players in applicable regions are presented with a User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent dialog. You can review or adjust your consent choices at any time via the Ad privacy choices button in the in-game Settings menu.
Website Notice: The mehfilgames.com website does not load advertising trackers, analytics scripts, third-party cookies, or account sign-in forms.
6. Storage, Security & Retention
Preferences and local stats remain on your Android device until you clear app storage or uninstall the application. Clearing app data does not delete server-side virtual-chip records.
Online session tokens expire automatically. The current server backend does not enforce automated time-to-live deletion for persistent guest accounts, wallet ledgers, or historical hand records. These records remain stored for accounting integrity, fraud prevention, and audit stability unless removed through a verified manual request.
All online internet communication is encrypted using HTTPS and WSS (WebSocket Secure). Local Wi-Fi games operate on your private local network.
7. Access & Account Deletion Requests
You can change your display name and preset avatar directly in the app at any time.
Manual Deletion & Data Rights: The current version of Mehfil Poker does not feature an automated in-app "Delete Account" button. To request access, correction, or deletion of your server-associated guest records, send an email to support@mehfilgames.com with the subject line "Mehfil Poker Privacy Request".
Please include your Player ID (accessible from your in-game profile) so we can locate your record. Verification of account ownership will be required before records can be disclosed or purged. Note that uninstalling the app deletes local preferences but does not delete cloud wallet records.
8. Age Audience & Policy Updates
Mehfil Poker is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not designed for or marketed to children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the intended age. If you believe an underage user has registered an account or provided information, please notify us immediately at the support address above.
When the way we handle data changes, we will update this page and modify the "Last reviewed & updated" date at the top of the page.
